Here's How You Play

Hello everyone. This is a blog where I will put on a question. Your job is to read the question and put your opinion. It's that easy. Please feel free to answer in any way, shape, or form. I can't promise that your opinion won't be laughed at because someone's will be. I will try to blog regularly. PS - Please keep the language clean.

knowledge

How would you like to stop right now and go back to when you were 10 and have all the knowledge you had right now. For me it wouldn't matter cause im 12 and 10 was only 2 years ago.

good q yo. i wouldn't have the knowledge i have now. part of the way i saw the world at 10 had to do with my lack of knowledge and there was rightness in that.

--going back to age 10 with all the knowledge I have now and how would that effect being 10 again--I would want to be close to my sister as little kids. I was 10 when she was 6 and I don't think we were tuned in to each other and I know we weren't close as the years went by. I regret that but we have really made up for that in our last 10 years. I am 51, she is 46 I think.

I would also want to be closer emotionally to my parents as a 10 year old and stay that way because of the good impact it would have had on me for all the rest of the years. I have often wished that I was the kind of kid who hung out with their dad, curled up in his lap, and enjoyed his affection- daughters need that. There was a lot of good that took place but it could have been much better.

Yes and NO! Being nieve at 10 was what made 10 WONDERFUL! BUT, I would have been a better person if I knew what I know now.

i wouldn't want the knowledge i have now to be transported to my ten year old self (i think this is the jist of your question)--life was simple at ten and would never want to distress my ten-year old self with all then nonsense and confusion the years bring.

I would say no, I wouldn't. I couldn't go back being constricted to my 10 year old self when I've lived in freedom & seen things that would be beyond my years. Because really, knowing all of the things I know now have come from time & experience, and I'd have to double those experiences & re-live it all again. I would rather choose to have the memories of my 10 year old innocence in a time where I was untainted.
