businesses+slogans
If you were going to start your own business what would the business be and what would the slogan be?
i'd like to have a little shop that specialized in selling irresistable framed pieces and interesting stuff. it would have a photo booth, rubberstamps, lots of letter-writing supplies and handmade things. it would be visually compelling and philosophically inspiring. some of my family members would help me run the place. slogan: glorify and enjoy
An independent record and book store. There would be lots of nooks and crannies obscured by piles of books and shelves of records, full of chairs for sitting and spaces for hiding. Maybe a room with a turntable and sample records, with hardwood floors and crazy mirrors for dancing. There would be an attic only accessible by a ladder. There would be windows with seats. There would be tunnels.
Ours would be a books/photography. It would be one of those little shops where it is two stories and the top half is your home and bottom half the shop - really old fashioned. I would want a foreign feel to it - like you get when you are in an old bookshop in england looking at books from the 1500's.
Slogan...I'm not good with slogans...maybe I'll think of one to post later...
BUT there would also be a tea shop in there when we would serve REAL british tea and triffles and lots of assorted interesting things from around the globe.
my business would be a place to sell things i painted (doll houses, chairs, plaques). and eventually I would make enough money to have cool custom shopping bags.
my slogan would be
"In 100 years you and me will be dead, so what's to lose"

If my last name was Moore I would start a company. It wouldn't matter what we sold. I would just say, "buy moore ....".
Example: If we solds hats, "Wear Moore hats."
Or coffee, "Drink Moore coffee"
Yeah, this is a lame idea. I'm not creative. I just steal other people's ideas and make them come to pass. heh.
