My dad is the best name giver I have ever known as you can see by hearing any of the names he has given in my family. I can't tell you how many times people have complimented my name and its all do to my dad. I know hes not the only one whos a good name giver so im asking you if you could give somebody a name what would it be?
Those who don't know the names of the children in my family here they are from oldest to youngest: Lowen, Brae, Sienna, Kyrie, Chalice, and me Pax. Plus the animals Jember and Grendel.

Vincent and I have a few 'strange but cool names' up our sleeves. I'm tempted to list them but I'm going to keep it to ourselves so that it will be a nice surprise when you get a new cousin.

I am very fond of Cameron for a girl, and also summerlyn. I am in love with all of the Howard names!! I have loved Sienna for a really long time! So great...

I LOVE the name Rowen. I've always thought Rowen Grey would be a nice name.
I always try to keep my names secret so when I have kids I can suprise everyone....but I HIGHLY doubt Adam will let me use that name.
If I had had a girl, her name could have been Tova (Russian) with a long O so she would have been Tova Salvatore...
Very interesting! I love hearing other people's names they like... Mr. Howard, you mentioned a name I LOVE, but I won't tell you which, in case one day we get the chance to use it! We like too keep our names a secret too, but I will tell you a name I have always loved, because of hamlet - "Ophelia" Since Joel doesn't relly like it, I decided, if we ever had a cat, which I highly doubt we will, since we don't really like cats much, BUT if we ever get one, we will name her Ophelia. :)
Name I've always loved, but will never be able to use due to my last name is "Marco" someone should use it, it is just too cool to go unused - I guess you would have to have a little italian in your blood though.
my favorite old family name that i'd love to use is tamzen. also i like the bible names keziah and tirzah. and a number of different spanish names. our family all has pretty unusual names too, mostly bible names: abram, enoch, caleb, hannah, abel, and ransom. amy is the only "normal" name. and my name is a double name.
I have another name that I think is cool - Aria.
Also - Ffion (its welsh)

Gallant--but it would never work to use it..also, Cecilia, which is in the Howard ancestory..how about my sister's name my mom made up, Charolyn (Ch as in Sh)--is that a great name or what??

My newest favorite word-name is "Dusk"
aaaalso, i like the name elliott a whole lot. for a girl or a boy. either one. it works for me. maybe eliette (or elliet or elliett or elliette) for a girl. also maybe not, because i like the letter O. three Es in one name can either be quite nice or overkill--i can't decide, so why put myself in such a situation? i'm the most indecisive person i know.

I went to school with a boy named Bunky. We didn't shorten to Bunk,( which is rather surprising as I tend to shorten most peoples names down to one syllable at one time or another!)No one ever knew his proper name, it was a deep dark secret. When he received his diploma they called out "Bunky", and he wouldn't let anyone snatch that diploma out of his grasp to see. It must have been a truly horrid name to go to those extremes don't you think?
Weird, I just googled my kids' names and found this...my son's name is Rowen Grey!
