On Thanksgiving, my dad makes one pie for each person present; so if there are 21 people at dinner, we have 21 pies. We eat pie for breakfast, lunch, and supper for the rest of the week.

okay, okay, so we kind of have this tradition. on christmas eve, on the way to the service at church, we get a drive-through dinner at burger king. gross! so let me explain. see, on christmas eve, we're always out and about and running around trying to make the day go quickly, and suddenly--"oy! we have to leave for the christmas eve service! now!" so we embark, dinnerless, and stop at the nearest and most convenient fast food restaurant. burger king. yeah. it's really gross. but we've done it for about three years in a row now. pretty much the worst tradition ever, but i think it's pretty funny.

besides, those bk employees need some christmas cheer.

In my family we are allowed to open one gift on Christmas eve (which I introduced to Vincent, this year).

On each one of our birtdays, we go to nice sushi resturaunts.

On new years when my family lived together, we eat mochi (rice cake), eat beans for good luck at work and noodles for long life.

On Christmas Eve my family has certain foods before we go to bed and one of them is crab dip from what I can remember and sparkling cider. Than my sister and I open a(one) present each on the eve, and it's always pajamas that we sleep in that night.

Christmas Morning, My sister and I wake up crazy early (yes still) and our stockings are on the top of the stairs and together we open them while mom and dad still sleep some extra hours. It's some good sister time also.

On the 26th we always go to North Carolina to visit all the family for about a week or so.

North Carolina is where we spend Thanksgiving also.

there is way more!
My family is obviously a tradition-type family.
