Here's How You Play

Hello everyone. This is a blog where I will put on a question. Your job is to read the question and put your opinion. It's that easy. Please feel free to answer in any way, shape, or form. I can't promise that your opinion won't be laughed at because someone's will be. I will try to blog regularly. PS - Please keep the language clean.

Good laws, bad laws, long laws, short laws.

If you could change, add, or erase a law what would it be?

i would like the law of gravity to be adjusted so that we could bounce around like we were on the moon. it would be nice to have this option from time to time. kind of like a snow day.

I would make a law that noone could buy anything with money. Everyone would have to share everthing. Money would not exist.

okay.. i know this is a little deep after those two.. but it's been the topic at covenant for awhile now and this is what came to my mind...

I would make a law of abortion being illegal. The statistics shock me everytime.

Pax, you sound either communist (which didn't work) or in heaven. Here's to being in heaven!

I like money. Money is very colorful in Canada. Maybe you don't like money because it is all boring green in the States. If we did away with money, we couldn't carry bits of blue, purple, and pink paper in our wallets.

And I agree with Sienna. I would make abortion illegal. That would probably be the only law I would add. I am more in favor of taking away laws, like a good deal of tax laws. It's the libertarian in me...or I would make a law that no law can be passed unless the legislators' five year old children can understand it first.

i just got back from Peru and though it was very slight, the rules for men and women was somewhat...off. their gender lines are still very distinct. i didn't like it. women were in the kitchen, with the children, served the men, and weren't allowed to play in certain games.

i know, in parts of the world, the oppression is hundreds of times worse.

i'd make a law that all women were to be respected and given oppurtunity and dignity because they are women and because they are human and are an incredibly necessary part of humanity's existance.

Hmmm...I don't like anti-gravity thing. I would be sick all the time, boucing is no bueno in my book. (although Jude would REALLY enjoy that!)

I would LOVE if abortion were illegal, which I really honestly believe according to the laws we already have that it is, but we don't recognize it. (i.e. every person is to be treated equally!!!)

Pax - I would love it if communism worked...in theory it does, but since it really doesn't work out like it should, I 'll just wait for Heaven like Funke said.

I'm a little late to be on the band wagon (for this question) but I had a conversation w/ other case workers today that brought me back here.

Instead of the abortion laws, let it be law that we all wear chastity bealts until we're married. I work w/ way to many children w/ parents that aren't ready for parenthood.
