Hello everyone, I want to start off today's post with wishing you happy holidays!!! Ok now for the question. My question for you today is what is your craft to do with your spare time? And while you are doing this craft what do you like your surrounding to be?

I very much enjoy making necklaces and writing poems in my spare time.I like my sorroundings to be music and people.
of course i like to rubberstamp envelopes and listen to radiohead.

i enjoy knitting handwarmers for friends (raise your hand if you'd like a pair!), and i like my surroundings to be warm & cozy and filled with
love, hot chocolate, and sufjan
(in the winter)

I enjoy cross-stitching or curled up with a good book or The Econimist.
I like my surroundings to be music, jazz or classical if I had to be specific, and friends.
People watching is another hobby, especially good in airports.
"spare time" is hardly in the life of chalice but when i do get those magical moments or even hours of getting to choose what i want to do instead of being ruled by busy-ness i looove working in my dance scrap book. mindy smith blasting from my cd player and a clean organized room. maaan cant beat that! its like therapy for me!

i think i'd have to say I most enjoy putting letters together... envelopes and all... and listening to..hmmm... fiest?! yeah. fiest. then jackson 5...oh and teagan and sara!!
now-a-days one of my favorite crafts isn't really a craft.. .i love decorating and rearranging things in our apartment!I also love watercoloring and trying out new make-up and new hairstyles!
I love to bake, it's just been low on the time list lately.I actually like silence around me, with a cup of coffee and a book to read between cookie batches. I love kneading bread...I was going to say music in the background, but actually, I usually like talk radio during the day, if I'm not in the silence mood...
I LOVE cooking or baking. It's so relaxing and yet adventerous at the same time! I love writing stories, and I especially love writing songs. I enjoy when I do these things alone because I can concentrate. If I'm cooking or baking I'll enjoy some Beatles to pump me up or Jazz if I need to mellow out.
Boris the dog and I listen to Miles Davis together. He seems to prefer In A Silent Way to Bitch's Brew. I'm teaching him how to cook Alfredo.
